All About Pho - Cerritos
About This Spot
Stepping into All About Pho in Cerritos feels like entering a home away from home for those who appreciate the quiet joy of a well-crafted bowl of pho. The setting strikes a balance between relaxed and attentive—a casual local eatery where the hum of conversation mingles with the soft clatter of spoons and chopsticks, creating a warm embrace rather than a rush. It’s a place where patience is part of the ritual, and a leisurely meal is a chance to pause and savor.
The atmosphere invites you to settle in without hurry, whether you’re here for a comforting solo lunch or sharing a table with friends who delight in exploring flavors together. The vibe is approachable yet refined, nodding to tradition while offering thoughtful modern touches that make each visit feel both familiar and fresh. It’s not just about filling the belly—it's about connecting to a deeper sense of comfort that comes from good food prepared with care.
What stands out at All About Pho is how the menu gently encourages discovery. Alongside the signature bowls boasting rich, slow-braised broths and tender cuts of beef, there are surprises like fish sauce fries with a twist of tangy umami or parmesan garlic wings that tease the palate. Herbal iced teas and distinctive house-made drinks bring balance to the meal, adding layers beyond the broth. It’s a cuisine that invites you to explore textures, aromas, and tastes that feel honest and satisfying without rushing.
The rhythm here is measured, much like the careful braising of their prized short ribs or the simmering of broth that has been coaxed into deep flavor over hours. Customers often return not just for the food, but for the subtle sense of being welcomed into a shared appreciation for tradition thoughtfully lifted into a contemporary moment. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down, linger over a bowl topped with fresh herbs, and maybe, just maybe, ask for an extra helping of noodles to soak up every graceful note.

This is one of the few pho places I personally like. It gets crowded since the food is that good. The service is great and the atmosphere is nice. I drive from all the way from Los Angeles to Cerritos. Is rare to find a good place in Los Angeles The portions are decent and they provide extra noodles on request for free

I can see why All About Pho is popular. Prices are on par with most other pho places these days; $16 for the cheapest meat option but they also have some fancier premium options. I had the pho tai bung (beef belly) and the thin beef slices were tender, fatty, and flavorful. I got the thick noodles, which is nice that they have the choice; you can get unlimited extra thin noodles. Now the broth, which I quite enjoyed! Not too salty, and had a slight hint of sweetness that added a nice depth. A little bit of a glittery sheen on top but far from being too oily. However, my boyfriend's bowl of pho tai filet mignon had a notably blander broth for some reason. The fish sauce fries are something I didn't think would work, but they are excellent. I love the shoestring texture, and they are perfectly cooked to a beautiful shiny golden yellow. The fish sauce flavoring is COMPLETELY addictive, and I could go back here for the fries alone. Service is just fine. We got our orders taken and delivered in a reasonable time, though the wait got super long after we were sat. They get very busy. To that point, the ambiance is lively and energetic, but not so loud that I couldn't hear the person across from me.

Pho is probably my all time favorite food. I eat Pho at least one time a week majority of the time and I have tried way too many different Pho places. I am from Colorado and was visiting California, and I must say that this may be the best Pho I have ever had. This was the only Pho I had in California because I was too scared to try a different pho place and be disappointed knowing I could have had the magical pho from All About Pho, so I'm not sure if this is common there, but the best way I can describe All About Pho is this. They take the traditional Pho that I'm used to, but make it better. They use pickled onions which I didn't even know was a thing until I came here, but they're delicious! they also steam(?) their bean sprouts which in my opinion makes the overall pho experience better. They also provide you with endless refills on rice noodles! No other pho I've been to does this. Personally I can handle about one extra bowl of noodles until I'm super full, but for people like brother, this is awesome because he could probably refill his bowl 5 times easily. One of my biggest gripes about Pho is the broth. A huge amount of Pho places do a poor job at making good broth. The broth at All About Pho is incredible. It is very flavorful with a pepperyness to it which I haven't had before. The siracha (which I assume is homemade) is extremely good as well! Finally, as most other reviews mention, who would have thought eating French fries at a Pho place would have you discover the best fries you've ever had? These fries are seasoned incredibly well and taste delicious! They come with a perfume bottle filled with fish sauce that you can spray on the fries. You may think fish sauce on fries would taste weird, but that is not the case at all. These fries are incredible and I highly recommend them. Overall TLDR: My favorite part of traveling is eating food. In my time traveling and trying food, I've never gone to the same place twice during my trip. I went to All About Pho twice in my 4 day trip. My brother went 3 out of 4 days. If that doesn't show you how good I think this place was, I don't know what will

Quite spacious restaurant serves a deeply flavorful pho with giant beef ribs. Also has a robot that can deliver non hot bowls of pho (appetizers) to each table. Can get really busy sometimes so be prepared for a wait.

Stopped by All About Pho in Cerritos and everything was great! We had the famous Fish Sauce Fries, Thai tea, Pho Suon Bo, and Pho Xe Lia — all super tasty. The fries came out crispy and hot, the Thai tea was perfectly sweet and refreshing, and both pho bowls had rich, flavorful broth with plenty of meat. The beef ribs in particular were fall-off-the-bone tender and added such great depth to the soup. Service was quick and friendly, and the place was nice and clean. Definitely coming back next time we’re in the area!
